We love Bondi Junction and the region around this fanastic Sydney Eastern suburb. When you come to stay with Uptown Apartments in our Waverley Street Executive Apartment, we want you to know where the best cafes, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity are. That way you can utilise all your time to enjoy all that Sydney has to offer you and your family.
First up – coffee. Where do you go in The Junction to get a good brew? Triple Pick Coffee in Gray Street is possibly the most reviewed coffee destination and Toby’s Estate are an award winning roaster and brewer of coffee. These are 2 very good places to enjoy a coffee according to Beanhunter.
Some great restaurants are close by your apartment. We have already reviewed Cho Cho San and The Apollo in another blog – so let’s look at some other local options.
Our advice for a great experience is to head on down to Bondi Beach. If you like Japanese fair, Soy Japanese Restaurant is a great choice. Located at 38 Campbell Parade, you can eat and stroll along the iconic beach or do it the other way around. Drake eatery and Pompei are also great locations that are consistently well reviewed and have an awesome selection of wonderful fresh food for your dining pleasure. If you are looking for a fine dining experience – we recommend you head back to the Junction, take a right and head over to Woollahra. Bistro Moncur is a great fine dining restaurant and the menu is diverse. The salmon marinated in Sauvignon Blanc and aromatics is a good starting point and the Confit Duck Cassoulet is a very good main. You are sure to find many delicious treats at Bistro moncur.
While in Sydney we highly recommend the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb and a visit to Taronga Park Zoo on the north shore. Have a great stay and soak up the vibes of Sydney.
