One of the most popular elements of the Uptown Apartments service are our online guidebooks, which go a long way to ensuring our guests enjoy their stay.
Links to our guidebooks are sent out 7 days prior to guests’ arrival, providing detailed information on getting to the apartment, parking and accessing keys. There is also information regarding wifi access and what to do prior to departure.
The house manual section of each guidebook provides useful information for the guest’s stay, including local and emergency phone numbers, instructions for using different hardware in the apartment, information on local public transport and house rules.
We then provide recommendations for local cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. We welcome guest input for this section, whether they found a new local café that isn’t on our list and should be, or a new supermarket has opened which future guests should be aware of.
Finally, our guidebooks provide suggestions for things to do while in town, including links to bookable activities, tours and day trips. A guest might be interested in a surfing lesson on Bondi Beach while they’re in Sydney, or a day trip to one or more of Gold Coast’s theme parks while they’re in Brisbane. We provide links for guests to easily book these online.
