We charge a 12.5% commission on rental revenue, and pass on any costs incurred in the running of your short-term rental, including cleaning and linen for certain stays where we don’t charge the guest directly. We also recommend utilities, wifi and Foxtel services being changed over to Uptown Apartments accounts to enable easy access by Uptown Apartments staff should any issues arise. However, you are not obliged to do this should you have a reason to do otherwise.
At the end of every month, by the 7th of the following month, we send you a statement and payment for all revenues (calculated on a pro-rata basis for the month), minus costs to be passed on and our commission. At the end of the financial year, we send you a complete and detailed yearly summary for your tax purposes.
